"In the world scenario, according to the authors visited, the Muslim world is in evidence since the attack on the Twin Towers in New York in the United States on September 11th 2001. Fundamentalist terrorism began to be confused with the Islamic religion in itself. Studying the Muslim world, also called Maometan or Islamic, we noticed that the Muslim religion is among the three largest religion in the world and it is a monotheistic God. Islam holds many special features, but one of the most intriguing told by Pace (2005) is about to no distinction between religion and state and, therefore, to study the religious phenomenon in Islam means necessarily also keep under control, the political dimension. The spiritual power is mingled in the same person of the ruler. THE spiritual representative is the same representative of the State, the nation. It may even be a President, but the spiritual representative is the one who makes the state decisions or is the one who says the final word about it."
